Atlanta, Ga., April 25, 2024: Equinox Open Library Initiative, a trusted leader in open source technology development and support for libraries, is excited to announce that Andrea Buntz Neiman, Project Manager for Software Development, will be presenting on Aspen Discovery and open source tools at the Connecticut Library Association 2024 Annual Conference. The conference keynote, “Library Joy: A Conversation with Mychal Threets,” will take place on Monday, April 29, 2024, at 9:20 a.m. in the Mystic Marriott Ballroom. Equinox’s presentation, “Aspen Discovery, CORAL ERM, and SubjectsPlus: Unlocking Collections with Open Source,” will take place on the same date, April 29th, at 10:50 a.m. ET in Conference Room 6. Equinox team members will be available throughout the conference at Booth #15 in the Exhibit Hall.
“Equinox has a long history of working with Bibliomation and the Connecticut State Library to support Connecticut’s libraries with open source software. Equinox provides IT services, training, and software development for Evergreen ILS and Fulfillment (which supports findIT CT and requestIT CT),” said Andrea Buntz Neiman, Project Manager for Software Development at Equinox. “I’m excited to be presenting again at this year’s conference, and I hope to see many of you there. Equinox has worked with Bibilomation since the consortium joined the Evergreen community in 2010. Equinox, Bibliomation, and the Connecticut State Library have worked together on the Connecticut statewide catalog, findIT CT, since 2016.
